Asplenium oblongifolium - Shining spleenwort

Asplenium oblongifolium - Shining spleenwort
Latin name:
Asplenium oblongifolium
Common name:
Shining spleenwort (Huruhuru Whenua is maori name)

The Shining Spleenwort has beautiful, glossy, bright green fronds which can grow to 1m or more in length. It can also be successful as a pot-plant or in a hanging basket.
This variety can tolerate a wide range of conditions but is best suited to dry, shady areas under trees and does not like excessive moisture. Slugs like this plant so drop snail bait around plant.
