Adiantum aethiopicum - true maidenhair
Latin name:
Adiantum aethiopicum
Common name:
True maidenhair

Adiantum aethiopicum is cold hardy but can be semi deciduous in colder districts. Requires light shade and moisture to show its best.
Spreads out as underground rhizome to form a large clump.
Grows well in a pot indoors. For outdoor planting this fern is not too particular about soil type but for indoors prefers a light, peaty soil.
