Asplenium polyodon - sickle spleenwort

Sickle spleenwort (Petako is maori name)

Asplenium polyodon (The Sickle Spleenwort) is found naturally growing in clumps from the trunks of large forest trees, as well as from the ground below. It has dark green, glossy fronds which are slightly paler underneath, and have a serated looking edge.
This variety needs shady damp conditions to flourish.
Looks good in a hanging basket.
