Ponga slabs

Ponga slabs
Latin name:
Ponga slabs
Keywords:
ponga, punga,

Machine sliced slabs of ponga - approximately 20cm thick, taken from the fat trunks of Dicksonia Fibrosa. These are great as a natural host for a range of hanging plants. If the slab is kept moist, an epiphytic plant (eg Asplenium Flaccidum, Hounds Tongue, hanging Orchid...) will take root into the ponga and happily continue to grow.
