Grapefruit Golden Special

Latin name:
Grapefruit
Common name:
Golden special
Keywords:
grapefruit, citrus, golden special

Golden Special is a large juicy fruited grapefruit, relatively seedless with fine grained flesh. Its easy peel and quite a thin skin.

Ripens July thru to November.

Plant in open sunny position and in good soil.

Fertilising - all citrus is quite hungry and we reommend 3 times per year - early Spring, early Summer and the early Autumn.

Spraying - an oil spray in Spring to rid any pests like Thrip, Mite and Scale and then in winter a copper spray to keep the tree clean of fungicides.

N.B We only grow this in a 25 litre easy lift bag and the plant will have been 15-18 months in that bag and be approx 1.2-1.4m tall
