Magnolia grandifloria ferruginea

Magnolia grandifloria ferruginea
Latin name:
Magnolia grandifloria "Ferruginea"
Common name:
Magnolia
Keywords:
ferruginea, magnolia

Rust coloured felt underneath of leaves and glossy green on top - evergreen growing to 7m tall x 5m wide so plan the area well before selecting this tree as no sense in overcrowding. Has large fragrant creamy flowers.
Planting - work over soil well and water in and stake the tree to ensure nice erect trunk will develop. Soil neutral ph to slightly acid. Keep a good mulch around the roots to avoid drying out, don't let it get too dry especially during establishment time.

Our trees are 2-2.5m tall and in 45 litre easy lift bags.
